The higher education experience is about more than just what happens in the classroom. For students to thrive when away from home for the first time, it is important that they have a safe, clean, enriching, and fun place to live, study, and grow.
Campus life at TAC combines a variety of activities on site as well as in the surrounding areas.
The American Campus classroom and administration building is located at Royal Road Belle Rose, Quatre-Bornes, with easy access to transportation stops from student housing, shops, restaurants, and world-class medical facilities.
We focus on the use of technology in optimizing learning by using in-classroom and virtual technology. All TAC classrooms will be equipped with projection systems, a SMART Board, whiteboard(s), and “Clicker” response systems.
In addition to a technology-enabled space, we provide comfortable and bright collaborative and private study areas for students.
In coordination with our academic partners in the United States, we will provide our students with some of the most sophisticated technology for use in higher education.
TAC’s computer laboratory/study area gives students access to specialized computer software and high-speed Internet services. Students can bring their own computers and connect to high-speed internet, or use TAC computers to complete course assignments.
The campus library has open learning and collaborative spaces, which will be equipped with tables, chairs, and sofas to promote student interaction and group work, but also facilitates individual study.
TAC students will have access to an extensive virtual library that will include e-books, magazines, and journals. We also provide a physical library that will contain a selected number of books that are pertinent to TAC academic programs.
Student will also have access to a portal that provides current information and personalized messages from faculty. Through the TAC portal, students will be able to check their academic status and register for courses. This portal will allow students to join groups that include American students at partner institutions to discuss learning topics.

Helping students learn to use their education, gifts, and talents to serve their fellow men is part of our mission. We believe it is important to help students look outside of themselves to help their community and country.
The American Campus aims to coordinate internships, and local and international volunteer opportunities for students. From tutoring and mentoring primary and secondary school children to helping farmers implement advanced crop growing techniques, TAC students will have the chance to change the world while they obtain a degree.
Physical activity is important for students to maintain a healthy balance in their life. Part of our mission is to provide a variety of recreational activities to promote development of the whole individual; physically, emotionally, socially, and intellectually.
