Bachelor of Arts in International Agribusiness
Partner: Utah State University

Mauritian students who are accepted between September 2017 and January 2019 for this degree, will be offered a Scholarship MUR 100,000 to be distributed each semester MUR 25,000 for the first two years (conditions will apply – please talk to Admissions for details).

International agribusiness is a diverse field ranging from corporate-owned farms to global food production and human nutrition.

This degree focuses on agricultural business operations across national borders, such as management, distribution, production, and supply. The program combines training in business, language skills, international law, and economics. Students are prepared to work in multi-national organizations.

The field of international agribusiness differs from other agricultural-related industries in that government intervention in the form of taxes, trade barriers, etc., have always played a role in cross-border businesses.  Students will gain the necessary tools to analyze and advise international food industries on the economics and politics of their businesses.
