Bachelor of Science in Agribusiness
Partner: Utah State University

Mauritian students who are accepted between September 2017 and January 2019 for this degree, will be offered a Scholarship MUR 100,000 to be distributed each semester MUR 25,000 for the first two years (conditions will apply – please talk to Admissions for details).

Agribusiness is the industry related to farming and is concerned with the financing, processing, marketing, management and distribution of agricultural-related products. Careers in agribusiness include opportunities in land management, food production and the distribution of farm products, such as warehouses, wholesalers, processors, and retailers.

This program trains students to take an entrepreneurial approach to business which may include small family farms or medium to large commercial agricultural operations. Because students gain a solid foundation in business, they can work in the broad area of business, but their agricultural knowledge and qualifications allow them to specialize in agribusiness careers.
